What the hell is Joplin, Missouri putting in their water?!? Listening to this, brings me back to listening to some Crass, Discharge and Aus Rotten (and that’s a good thing). This album as a whole is dirty, raw and intense and that’s how I like my music. The first time listening to this album in it’s entirety, all I could picture were a bunch of kids slam dancing in a basement and it made me realize that there are still some bands out there that are keeping the essences of the underground music alive!!! Let’s talk about some of the tracks on this album. The first one I pick and was very impressed with is the Celtic Frost cover “Into The Crypt Of Rays”. I am a Celtic Frost fan and I was blown away by how well KROM did revamping this song by keeping it real and bringing their own twist on the finished product. Besides that track, the other one that really stuck out for me was “Inherit The Wasteland”. I’m still trying to figure out what exactly grabbed me in this song but it’s the tune I kept going back to so my ears could get another eargasm.
