Resonance EP
Self Released
Modern Rock
Denver, Colorado
Real rock n roll is back in action!!!! Resonance is a rock band from Denver that just released a self titled 6-track EP on 11/11/11. The first thing that I noticed right off the bat with this EP is the rawness of it. Not a whole lot of production or engineering put into the recording of this and I think it was a smart move. It almost feels like listening to a live recording of an album so I’m able to hear what they would sound like at a show and that’s a HUGE element to add to your music. It has been hard to find my favorite track on this because there are a lot of great qualities about them but I think it is a tie because the softer track “Pretender” and and the guitar work in “Welcome To The End”. It’s pretty easy to see why they won the battle of the bands at Summit Music Hall August 2011. I am very excited to hear what these guys are going to come up with in the future and I hope you all also enjoy this EP like I did. You can pick it up from the band for $5.
